Fitness among women these days has become restricted to just burning fat.  A woman’s natural yearning for an hourglass figure has prompted them to give a serious shot to a regular fitness regime besides going on crazy diets. While many try Yoga, Pilates or Aerobics at home, the die-hard fitness freaks will sacrifice anything to hit the gym every day.

The exercises in gym are pretty conventional and confined to the stereotype cardio and weight training. This has prompted many women to look for alternative fitness guides which will give them a svelte look and add a zing to their lives at the same time.

However, there is more to fitness than just weight loss. A perfect blend of strength, endurance, power along with a well toned body is what actually defines fitness. So is there a regime that is unconventional, stylish and yet takes fitness to a sublime level? Yes, Kettlebell training is the answer to these questions.

Kettlebells are actually cast iron balls with a handle which are particularly used to perform ballistic exercises. Kettelebell training involves cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance exercises and finds its origin in Russia. These handled balls typically range from 10 pound to 35 pounds. A weight of 10-25 pounds is usually suggested for women.

The cast iron bells uses one’s stabilizer muscles to work vigorously in order to sculpt out perfect shoulders, arms, core and butt, thus making it a rage among women. The basic movements, such as the swing, snatch, squats, presses, row and jerk, involves the complex muscles of the entire body in perfect synchronization.
